How to merge PDF files
- 1Choose the PDF files you want to combine, or drop them onto the box. You can add more at any time.
- 2Drag the files into the order they should appear in. The number on each file shows its place.
- 3Click Merge PDF.
- 4Download the merged file. Need to change a page? Switch to Organize: your files stay open.
Combine PDFs in any order
Each file shows a preview of its first page, its name and its page count, so it's easy to see what goes where. Drag a file to move it, or use Alt and the arrow keys. Remove a file with the X in its corner. When you merge, every page of every file is added in the order shown, into one PDF named merged.pdf.
Want more control than whole files? Switch to the Organize tab after adding your files. You'll see every page of every file and can drag single pages between them, rotate them or delete them before saving.
The merged PDF looks exactly like the originals
Pages are copied as they are: text stays sharp and searchable, pictures aren't re-compressed, and fonts that several pages of a file share are stored only once, so the merged file isn't bigger than it needs to be. Pages keep their size and direction, so a landscape page stays landscape.
Common uses: putting scanned pages back together, combining an invoice with its receipts, joining chapters into one document, or attaching a signed page to a contract.
Free and quick
Merge as many files as you like, each up to 1 GB, with no account and no limit per day. Because the merging happens right in your browser, it's often done in a second or two. PDFs that are locked against editing but open without a password are unlocked automatically.

As many as you like. Each file can be up to 1 GB.
Can I change the order of the files?
Yes. Drag the files into order before merging. On a touch screen, press and hold a file, then drag it.
Can I merge only some pages of a file?
Yes. Add your files, then switch to the Organize tab: there you can delete pages and move single pages between files before saving.
Does merging reduce the quality?
No. Pages are copied without being changed, so the merged PDF looks exactly like the original files.
